Social Media Strategist
As the Social Media Strategist for Mermaid Tattoos, my responsibilities included developing an individualized content strategy for each social media platform, coordinating a unified content calendar, establishing KPIs for evaluation and then communicating recommendations from these insights, leveraging trends to boost user engagement, engaging with followers and viewers on a daily basis, and organizing grassroots influencer campaigns.
I maintained an average engagement rate of 5% for @mermaidtattoos on TikTok solely through organic outreach.
On average 1.6% of the people who interacted with our TikTok videos (excluding paid media) clicked the link to the store and completed a purchase.
For every 1 visitor that made a purchase, 94 did not. To ensure we were capturing these high value leads, I created a highly targeted landing page which would incentivize visitors to submit their email. The result was that 70% of visitors from TikTok entered their email.
